Kundert Named Big Ten Player of the Week

Wisconsin women's soccer senior Kelly Kundert (Madison, Wis.) was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts last weekend against Oakland and Notre Dame. The Badgers defeated Oakland, 3-0 and tied No. 3 Notre Dame, 2-2.
Kundert scored two goals against No. 3 Notre Dame on Sunday for the first multi-goal game of her career. Kundert also added an assist in Wisconsin's victory over Oakland for a five-point weekend. Kundert leads the team with three goals and seven points.
It is Kundert's first Big Ten Player of the Week honor and the Badgers' first since Allison Wagner earned co-honors Oct. 23, 2000.
