Badgers Earn First Win of Bo Ryan Era

In their first exhibition game of the season, the Wisconsin Badgers dominated the EA Sports All-Stars, 95-64, in head coach Bo Ryan's first time on the UW bench. Badger freshman guard Devin Harris led the team in scoring with 22 points.
The Badgers outscored the EA All-Stars 45-36 in the second half as Harris dominated the period with 14 points. After Wisconsin's 50-26 halftime lead, EA Sports came within 14 points at 56-42 with 12:16 remaining in the game. The Badgers then responded with a 15-0 run, sealing the victory.
Wisconsin jumped to an early 13-2 lead over the first five minutes of the game, after a pair of free throws by Mike Wilkinson. The redshirt freshman was the Badgers second-highest scorer, going 6-8 from the field and 6-6 at the line for a total of 19 points.
Wisconsin dominated the boards outrebounding EA Sports 41-21, with Wilkinson and senior Charlie Wills both leading the team with nine boards a piece. Wills and Wilkinson were only one rebound shy of earning double-doubles on the night.
With the win the Badgers increased their exhibition winning streak to 18 consecutive game, with an all-time record of 33-4. Wisconsin continues its exhibition season Tuesday when the team takes on Athletes in Action at the Kohl Center. Tip off is at 7 p.m.
