Men's Basketball Holds Media Day

The Wisconsin men's basketball team held its media today at the Kohl Center. First-year head coach Bo Ryan answered questions to open the session then Badger players and assistant coaches were available.
Coach Ryan introduced three new members of the team, walk-ons Brent Boetcher, Michael Jackson and Max Peek. In addition, sophomore Ike Ukawuba, who was a member of the team last year, will rejoin the squad this season. That brings the Badgers ' roster to 15 players.
At media day, it was also announced that the Badgers will hold an open practice for fans on Saturday, Oct. 27 prior to the Wisconsin vs. Michigan State football game. The practice, which will consist mainly of scrimmage situations, will be held on the arena floor at the Kohl Center. Doors will open at 9:15 a.m. and the practice will last approximately one hour. Admission is free.
