Sophie Henshue joined the Wisconsin Olympic Strength and Conditioning staff as an intern in January of 2024 and has worked with multiple teams including women’s openweight rowing, women’s lightweight rowing, volleyball, softball, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s swim and dive, wrestling and women’s tennis. Henshue currently serves as a Strength and Conditioning Fellow.
A former openweight rower for the Badgers and Big Ten medalist, Henshue earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in kinesiology from Wisconsin. Henshue is certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and is also CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association.
