Molly Ann Walke

Molly Ann Walke serves as the Director of Academics & Career, where she leads the Learning Support unit in promoting student-athlete success through educational assessment, transitional programming, one-on-one skill-building sessions, and referral to academic resources provided by the athletics department and the larger UW-Madison campus. She also oversees the tutoring program.

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Molly Ann is a licensed social worker. Prior to her current position, she spent nearly four years at Baylor University as Director of Learning Support, where she led the tutoring program, facilitated an emerging professional development program, ran the academic unit’s social media accounts, and served as a learning specialist for various sports.

Molly Ann began her career at Louisiana State University as an academic advisor in the Ogden Honors College and later transitioned to a learning specialist at the Academic Center for Student-Athletes (ACSA). For two years at ACSA, she oversaw the summer bridge program and assisted with oversight of the educational assessment program.

In addition to her Master of Social Work from LSU, she earned her Bachelor of Mass Communication from LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication, where she concentrated in public relations and minored in business administration.
