McGhee Mann

McGhee Mann is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Wisconsin women’s basketball program. He brings a diverse coaching background with experience in player development, scouting, and video coordination at both the collegiate and professional levels.

Mann joins Wisconsin after spending the 2024–25 season as an assistant coach and video coordinator with the Missouri women’s basketball program. While at Missouri, he played a key role in the development of Laniah Randle, who reached the 1,000-point career milestone. Randle also led the team in rebounding in 15 games and was the top scorer in eight.

Prior to Missouri, Mann spent three seasons at Clemson, where he served as the video coordinator and director of scouting. He also stepped into the role of interim assistant coach, working closely with the frontcourt players and helping forward Amari Robinson earn Second Team All-ACC honors.

Mann’s coaching journey also includes a season at Arkansas State as the Director of Scouting and Operations, where he oversaw scouting reports, video analysis, and team analytics. He previously spent two seasons as the video coordinator at Grand Canyon University, managing video projects, creating playbooks, and assisting with recruiting and team camps.

From 2015 to 2017, Mann served as a graduate assistant with the Baylor men’s basketball program under head coach Scott Drew. His responsibilities included film breakdown, player development, and game preparation. During his time at Baylor, he also launched a mentorship program connecting student-athletes with business professionals in the Waco community.

Earlier in his career, Mann coached at Spartanburg High School and gained NBA experience through internships with the Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers, assisting with video projects and administrative duties related to scouting, player development, and draft preparation.
