Bridget Woodruff was elevated to Associate Athletic Director of Organizational Effectiveness for Wisconsin Athletics in 2023 as part of the Badgers' administrative senior staff.

After originally joining the Wisconsin athletic department in 2007, Woodruff was named as the Assistant Athletic Director of Organizational Effectiveness for Wisconsin Athletics in 2022. As Associate AD, Woodruff will be focused on internal efficiencies and objectives within the athletic department. These plans include facilitating the organization’s Strategic Plan, implementing project management solutions and enhancing internal communication and culture strategies.

Woodruff served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Career & Leadership from 2018-2021. She led the athletic department efforts for student-athlete career & leadership development, employer relations, and the W Club, the Badgers' letterwinners organization helping connect alumni to current student-athletes.

Woodruff spent six years as the Director of Student-Athlete Development, served for three years as the Assistant Director of the Office of Academic Services, and began with the UW in 2007 as an Academic Athletic Advisor.

Before coming to Wisconsin, Woodruff was an Assistant Counselor in the Student-Athlete Support Services Office at The Ohio State University, where she advised student-athletes and coordinated life skills programming.

Woodruff is a member of Women Leaders in College Sports, and the National Association for Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A).

Woodruff is a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where she earned a B.S. in Athletic Training and a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she earned a M.A. in Sport Management.

She is originally from Burlington, Wis., and currently lives in Verona with her husband and two children.
