Alessandro Gentile, born in Milan, Italy joined the Olympic Strength and Conditioning staff as an intern in September 2023 where he worked with Men’s and Women’s Swim and Dive, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Volleyball, Softball, Wrestling, Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country, Women’s Tennis.
 
In August 2024 he became a Strength and Conditioning Fellow to work with Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Dive, Men’s Sprint Swim and Spirit Squad.
 
Alessandro graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver, where he played soccer as well, and with a Master’s Degree in Applied Physiology from University of Miami.
 
He is certified as Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is CPR/AED and First Aid certified by the American Red Cross.
