High School: Ran cross country for three years, earning three varsity letters … awarded Rookie of the Year … received coaches award … four-year member of the basketball team … two-time varsity letter recipient … nominated captain … four-time varsity letter recipient for soccer … earned second team all-conference … elected captain … received the coaches award twice … also played tennis for one year 

Personal: Parents are Maribeth and Bill Baker … has one brother, Ben, and one sister, Ruth … both mother and father rowed at UW-Madison … intended major is kinesiology 

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: “Overall environment and the pride people have in their school”

What Wisconsin rowing means to you: “Family away from home. Pushes me to do more than I ever though I could mentally and physically.”
