Ryan Murray joined the Wisconsin women’s basketball staff in 2018 as the video coordinator and director of scouting.
Murray comes to Wisconsin after serving as a video assistant with the Ohio State women’s basketball program, filming games and practices for analyzing performance and preparing scouting videos. “We are excited to have Ryan join our Wisconsin women’s basketball family as the video coordinator and director of scouting,” said head coach Jonathan Tsipis. “Ryan’s experience as the video coordinator at Ohio State and head manager for two seasons will bring great energy to our program. He understands the game from a player’s perspective and learned from great coaches at Ohio State. He made a great impression with everyone he met and he is very talented in video production.”
Murray played one season at Centre College (Ky.), aiding the Colonels to the Southern Athletic Conference championship and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA tournament. After transferring to Ohio State, Murray participated in the OSU men’s club basketball team from 2015-17.
