2024: Played in 34Â games while starting eight her freshman year...Finished the season 8-for-28 with a home run... Appeared multiple times as a pinch-runner, scoring ten runs on the season... collected her first career hit on February 15 against Georgia, and hit her career home run against UMBC on March 15... Split time between outfield and second base.
High School: Played under head coach Anthony Rocco ... 2x First Team All-State, Second Team All-State, 3x All-Conference Team, ACHS Female Athlete of the Year. Slashed .500/.512/.881/1.393 her senior year in 36 games with 11 HR's, 36 RBI, 56 runs, and 20 stolen bases ... Team was State Runner-Up in Illinois 3A.
Personal: Daughter of Saul & Yesenia Echevarria... has one brother, Hayden.
Why Wisconsin: Wisconsin has top notch academics and a growing CDIS program. It has a competitive Big Ten softball team and the program continues to thrive. I love the atmosphere in Madison and how close it is to my home and family.What Goals do You Have for Your First Season at UW:Â I want to work hard every day and contribute to the team to ultimately compete in the College World Series. I also hope to make the Big Ten All-Freshmen team.
