2021-22: Academic All-Big Ten... sat seventh in the lightweight eight grand final at the IRA National Championships... competed in the lightweight eight grand final of the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta (May 14)... finished first ahead of four other teams in the varsity four at the Eastern Sprints (May 1)
2020-21:
High School: Was a rower all four years in high school … rowing captain senior year… also competed in rock climbing and Nordic skiing…

Personal: Parents are Lela and David Jaacks … has two brothers, Thatcher and Carson … plans on majoring in textiles & fashion design and computer science…

Reason for choosing UW-Madison: "The ability to pursue all of my interests – rowing, textile design, and computer science – within strong programs; the incredible and enthusiastic coaching staff; and of course being able to live right by the lake and the boathouse!"

What Wisconsin rowing means to you:Â Wisconsin rowing is a strong sense of community filled with grit and passion, but also a sense of humility.
