Trask on Spragg: “Charles is a player who comes very highly recommended as a member of the New Zealand National Team program. We had great success with Sam Brotherton (another All-Whites player) and feel that Charles will be a key to our attack for the next four years. Charles ability to link and create opportunities for himself is massive in the modern game. We are expecting a smooth transition for him from New Zealand as his brother competed for four years collegiately in the states.”
Tiemeyer on Spragg: “Charles comes to UW after representing New Zealand at the U17 World Cup in India. He is striker capable of scoring goals at a high level. He combines that ability with worker’s attitude, pressuring and frustrating opposing back lines.”
