Grady Lenn wins second Big Ten Freshman of the Week

De Pere native helped UW to top-10 finish last Saturday
MADISON, Wis. – For the second time this season, Wisconsin men's cross country student-athlete Grady Lenn was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week following his performance at the John McNichols Invitational.
The De Pere native placed 45th in the John McNichols Invitational in 24 minutes, 26.1 seconds, a personal best of 45 seconds from his Badger Classic opener. Lenn was the third runner to cross the finish line for the Badgers, and the third-fastest true freshman in a highly competitive field.
Following his second competition of the season, Lenn has won the most Big Ten Freshman of the Week awards in Wisconsin program history.
Lenn will get his next opportunity to race next week at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in Chicago on Friday.
