“Live at Wisconsin” Becomes the Digital Home for Concerts & Events at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin Athletics this week unveiled Live at Wisconsin, a new destination on UWBadgers.com dedicated to concerts, major events and one of a kind experiences at Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center.
With a packed lineup of shows coming to Madison over the next several months, the site provides fans with a centralized home for ticketing, parking, event updates, venue details and insider information for all live entertainment hosted at Badger venues.
"It's an exciting time for Badger fans and for anyone who loves live entertainment in iconic settings," said Mitchell Pinta, Deputy AD/Chief Revenue Officer for Wisconsin Athletics. "Camp Randall Stadium on a fall Saturday and a sold out Kohl Center on game night are already among the best atmospheres in college sports. Now, we're continuing the momentum of bringing world class artists and unforgettable experiences to fans from across Wisconsin and beyond."
"Madison has an incredible live music scene, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison is a world-class institution. Live at Wisconsin will create great opportunities for FPC Live to build upon its success at UW's venues, Camp Randall Stadium and the Kohl Center, connecting the world's most popular artists with their fans in one of the most vibrant cities in the country." - Scott Leslie, FPC Live Co-President
The launch of Live at Wisconsin comes as Badger Athletics prepares to host six major music events over the next four and a half months, beginning with the May 16 Shinedown performance at the Kohl Center.
The summer and fall schedule includes:
• Phish: Live in Madison — July 7 & 8 at the Kohl Center
• AC/DC: Power Up Tour — July 19 at Camp Randall Stadium
• Mumford & Sons — September 23 at the Kohl Center
• The Smashing Pumpkins: The Rat in a Cage Tour — October 11 at the Kohl Center
After a nearly 30-year hiatus, concerts made a triumphant return to Camp Randall Stadium last summer with a trio of sold-out shows from Morgan Wallen and Coldplay. Wisconsin Athletics' growing concert series reflects an increasing commitment to expand the use of its classic venues beyond sports, creating more opportunities for fans to experience Camp Randall and the Kohl Center in new and memorable ways.
Fans can explore upcoming events, purchase tickets, and find detailed venue information by visiting UWBadgers.com/LiveAtWisconsin.
