Volleyball Adds Bardaro to Roster

Badgers welcome experienced Italian libero to roster
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin volleyball team has added libero Anna Bardaro from Cittadella, Italy, announced by head coach Kelly Sheffield.
In Italy, the 5-foot-10 libero played for club Cuneo Granda Volley of the Italian A1 league.
"I'm excited to announce Anna will be joining our team," Sheffield said. "She is a very good passer and experienced Libero. It's a position that we've looked to bulk up our depth and she certainly helps that. She will be joining us early this summer which will be huge in her working her way into our team and culture."
This 2025-26 season, Bardaro played with Italy's women's National U-21 team, and helped the unit win the Imoco Volley Concgliano at the most recent FIVB Volleyball Women's U21 World Championships. Bardaro also has National experience in the Italian Super Cup, CEV Women's Championships League and the World Club Championships.
Bardaro will join the Badgers this summer.
Catch Wisconsin in its final spring match, Friday, April 24, against Northern Illinois. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at the UW Field House. Fans can also catch the game on B1G+.
