Kesner earns two points for the Badgers at the Big Ten Championships

Day two filled with three UW top-ten marks
INDIANAPOLISÂ - Senior Taylor Kesner collected a seventh-place finish to lead the Wisconsin women's track and field team on the second day of the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships.Â
Kesner took seventh in the weight throw with a heave of 72 feet, 8 ½ inches (22.16m). This mark earned the Badgers two points for the team score. She was trailed by Sophomore Nora Skoraczewski, who threw her personal best of 66-8 ½ (20.33m), good for 12th place, and a No. 9 mark in the UW record book. Danni Langseth placed 13th, heaving her personal best 65-0 ½ (19.82m).Â
Elissa Perkins kept the momentum rolling, jumping her personal best on her first jump in the long jump, jumping 19 feet, 2 ½ inches (5.85m).Â
Two top-ten marks were achieved by the sprinters in the 60-meter prelims. Luciana Aizpurua moved to No. 3 in the UW record book, placing third in her heat and 13th overall with a sprint of 7.42. This is her fourth top-ten mark of the season, she had jumped into the record book in January at seventh, then moving to sixth and fifth in the last month. Rachel Robinson joined the personal-best party, crossing the finish line in 7.55, moving her to No. 7 from her prior No. 9 spot. Â
