MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's basketball senior Nolan Winter has been named to the 2026-27 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Men's College Player of the Year Watch List, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced on Monday.
It's Winter's third preseason accolade before the opening night game of the 2026-27 season.
A native of Lakeville, Minnesota, Winter was one of 50 players selected to the 2026-27 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Men's College Player of the Year Watch List. Winter joins nine other Big Ten players who were chosen for the list.
The 7-foot forward is coming off a successful campaign in his junior year, where he averaged 13.1 points, 8.4 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game in the 2025-26 season.
Winter had 12 double-doubles last season for the Badgers, and will be an important leader for Wisconsin.
