Head Coach Mike Hastings
On tonight's game
"We're better, the best version of ourselves, when we are playing in front. To start off and get down the way that we did, dug ourselves a hole. We had some different guys step up, not the usual suspects. It was a nice push at the end, but at the end of the day, it's not enough."
On looking toward Friday
"Today wasn't do or die. We wanted to utilize some things from tonight's game for us to be the best version that we can for the University of Wisconsin on Friday, that's still there. Will we take some things out of this? Yes.
Adam Pietila is going in a good direction, we're keeping him out of the box, which is a positive and he's starting to play with a bit more confidence."
