Wisconsin honors nine players after match against Penn State
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's soccer fell to Big Ten regular season champion Penn State 2-0 on a breezy Sunday afternoon.

Wisconsin began with an early corner kick opportunity, but were unable to connect on the cross.

Penn State scored in the 18th and 83rd minutes to pace themselves past UW.

The Badgers honored nine players for senior day at the conclusion of the match. Those recognized include, Michael Russell (fall 2020 graduate), Ben Leas, Zach Klancnik, Patrick Yim, Andrew Akindele, Moritz Kappelsberger, Henri Tophoven, Kyle McCurley and Ben Krongard.

Wisconsin is in the 2021 Big Ten Tournament starting next week and will play Sunday, Nov. 7 in the first round against an opponent and at a site to be determined..
