MINNEAPOLIS – For the fifth time this year, the Wisconsin women's hockey team will battle Minnesota, but this time a trophy will be at stake. The No. 2 Badgers and No. 1 Golden Gophers will meet in the 2019 WCHA Final Faceoff Championship on Sunday in a 2 p.m. contest at Ridder Arena.

The championship tilt can be seen on Fox Sports Wisconsin and Fox Sports North and via on the Fox Sports Go app. The game can be heard in the Madison area on The Big 1070 as Reid Magnum and Mark Greenhalgh have the call.

1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers are coming off of a thrilling 3-2 win over Ohio State on Saturday in the semifinals of the WCHA Final Faceoff. Britta Curl scored in the first period, Sophie Shirley scored late in the second before Annie Pankowski netted the game-winning strike with 4:30 left in the third period. Wisconsin outshot OSU 42-15 on the evening while UW was 1-of-3 on the power play.

2. 200, WE WANT MORE: UW senior Annie Pankowski continued her historic senior season as the co-captain became only the sixth Badger to tally 200 career points thanks to her clutch game-winning goal on Saturday. A Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award Top-Three Finalist, Pankowski joins Hilary Knight (262), Brianna Decker (244), Meghan Duggan (238), Sara Bauer (218) and Brooke Ammerman (215) in the 200-point club at Wisconsin.
3. ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR MARK: With Saturday's win, UW head coach Mark Johnson became the winningest coach in Wisconsin Athletics history with his 490th win on the Badger bench. Johnson passed UW men's hockey legend Jeff Sauer, who won 489 games during his tenure at UW. It's the second major milestone Johnson has accomplished this year as he became the winningest coach in NCAA National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey back in October.

4. AT THE FINAL FACEOFF: Wisconsin is 50-15-0 all-time in WCHA postseason play, winning three of the past four WCHA Final Faceoff titles.  The Badgers are 7-2 in WCHA Final Faceoff Championship history when playing in Minneapolis, the best championship record in that city of any conference team. It marks the second-straight year UW and UM have met in the title game and the third time in the last four years.

5 SELECTION SUNDAY: Sunday isn't only the WCHA title game, but it is also "Selection Sunday" as the NCAA will announce the field for the 2019 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Championship at 8 p.m. CT live on NCAA.Com. The winner of the WCHA title tilt earns an automatic bid to the national championship while the loser should receive one of four at-large spots for the eight-team tournament.
