Badgers host Terriers on Nov. 10
MADISON, WIS.- Wisconsin holds its second home game of the season as it hosts Wofford on Nov. 10 at 2 p.m.
Here are five things to know before tip-off against the Terriers.
1. Take It Back: This past Tuesday the Badgers hosted North Florida. They took down the Ospreys 75-62 and are currently 1-0.
2. First Up: The team was lead by senior Kendra Van Leeuwen and freshman Julie Pospisilova as they scored 14 points and had four assists each. Van Leeuwen also had eight rebounds.
3. Hilliard Hits It Off: The freshman from Monroe finished her first game with the Badgers scoring 11 points and grabbing five rebounds in her first 13 minutes as a Badger.
4. First Time Face-Off: This is the first time that Wisconsin will be going up against Wofford. The Terriers went 16-15 last season and have only one freshman, returning 13 players. Senior guard Chloe Wanink was named SCC Preseason Player of the Year and preseason all-conference. Junior guard Da'Ja Green joins Wanink on the preseason all-conference team.
5. Looking Ahead: The Badgers will travel to the University of Colorado to face up against the Buffaloes on Thurs. Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. (CT)
