MADISON, Wis. – After a week off of competition, the No. 2 Wisconsin women's hockey team returns to the ice to host Minnesota State this weekend at LaBahn Arena, Saturday's game starts at 2 p.m. with Sunday's series finale, which can be heard on 100.9 FM, to begin at 3 p.m.

Parking for Saturday's game will be $5 in Lots 29, 46 and 91 and fans that park in those lots must leave immediately following the women's hockey game due to the men's hockey game at 7 p.m. Parking on Sunday is also $5 in Lots 29, 46 and 91 and fans should allow themselves extra time to find parking due to the UW men's basketball game at noon. In addition, fans on Sunday must leave immediately following the game due to the women's basketball game at 6 p.m.

1. HOME, SWEET HOME: The Badgers have been stellar at home as Wisconsin enters this weekend's series with a 20-game unbeaten streak at LaBahn Arena.

Part of the Badgers' success at home has been in part of its fantastic fan support as UW leads the country in attendance, averaging 2,273 fans per home game this year. UW has sold out 62 of its last 80 games at LaBahn Arena and had a program-best 20 sellouts last season.

2. CLOSING IN ON THE CENTURY CLUB: Senior Abby Roque, the Preseason WCHA Player of the Year, is only five assists away from becoming the eighth Badger to record 100 career assists.

Roque would join an elite group that includes four Olympians, three Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award winners and five All-Americans. Roque also ranks in the top-20 in school history in points (134), plus/minus (+113), power-play goals (16) and game-winning goals (12).

3. KILLING IT: The Badgers have been stellar on the penalty kill as UW has not allowed a power-play goal since Sept. 28 against Lindenwood. Since then, UW has killed its last 28 penalties and currently ranks third in the country with a .943 clip (33-of-35). That clip also leads the WCHA.

4. AGAINST THE MAVERICKS: The Badgers are 84-2-3 all-time against Minnesota State and holds a 25-game unbeaten streak against the Mavericks.

During the unbeaten run, UW has outscored MSU 123-13 and has 15 shutouts. Abby Roque has 14 points in 14 games against MSU while Britta Curl and Sophie Shirley each have five points in four career games against the Mavericks.

5. GOLDEN COACHES:  Both benches this weekend feature Miracle on Ice legends: Badgers' bench boss Mark Johnson and Minnesota State's head coach John Harrington.

Johnson and Harrington were forwards on the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team that shocked the world to win the gold medal. Johnson recorded 11 points, including two goals in the United States' win over the Soviet Union.
