1. LOOKING TO MAKE HISTORY Wisconsin has been stellar in WCHA postseason play as of late, as the Badgers eye their fourth-straight WCHA tournament title. With a tournament title this year, UW would become the first school in conference history to win four-straight tournaments and it would mark UW's eighth WCHA Final Faceoff crown.

2. WHAT A RUN: The Badgers have won their last 13 WCHA tournament games, a streak that dates back to the 2014-15 season. During the run the Badgers have outscored their opponents 56-6 and have seven shutouts during the streak.

Included in UW's tournament run is a 1-0 win over Minnesota in the 2016 WCHA Final Faceoff title game as Sydney McKibbon scored the game-winning goal for the Cardinal and White.

3. HOW WE GOT HERE: Wisconsin defeated Bemidji State, 4-1, in the semifinals of the 2018 WCHA Final Faceoff as Baylee Wellhausen recorded a hat trick while Maddie Rolfes scored in her second-straight game. Abby Roque also added two assists in the victory. Sophomore netmindner Kristen Campbell stopped 22 of the 23 shots she faced to earn her first postseason win for the Cardinal and White.

Minnesota blanked Ohio State, 2-0, in the other semifinal as Grace Zumwinkle scored the game-winning goal midway through the second period before adding an empty-net strike with less than a minute to go. Sidney Peters stopped all 33 shots she faced to earn the shutout in net for Minnesota

4. BALLIN' BAYLEE: Senior co-captain Baylee Wellhausen netted her second career hat trick in Saturday's 4-1 win over Bemidji State as Wellhausen scored an even-strength goal 41 seconds into the game before scoring a game-winning shorthanded goal midway through the second period. It marked UW's first shorthanded goal of the year.

Wellhausen sealed the win with 30 seconds to go as she fired the puck into BSU's empty net to ice the game for UW. It marks the second-straight year a Badger has recorded a hat trick in the WCHA playoffs as Sarah Nurse netted three goals last year against Minnesota State.

5. SELECTION SUNDAY: Following Sunday's WCHA championship game, the Badgers will find out their NCAA tournament fate as the NCAA Selection Show will take place on Sunday at 8 p.m. on NCAA.com. The winner of the WCHA tournament earns an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
