Team Notes
- The Badgers fall to 8-18 overall, 4-12 in Big Ten play. Northwestern improves to 21-6, 11-5.
- Wisconsin played its first overtime game of the season and first since falling to Minnesota 74-68 in the first round of the 2014 Big Ten Tournament on March 6.
- UW tied a school record by making 12 3-pointers. The Badgers also hit 12 triples against Ohio State on Jan. 29 and 12 at Ohio State on Feb. 6, 2012. The mark also tied the Kohl Center mark set against the Buckeyes. Wisconsin attempted a season-high 29 3-pointers, which ties for fifth on the UW single-game record list.
- The Badgers honored their four seniors - AnnMarie Brown, Jacki Gulczynski, Michala Johnson and Cassie Rochel - in post-game ceremonies.
- Wisconsin's 83 points against the Wildcats was its second-highest of the season.
- UW outrebounded Northwestern, 48-28, the fewest boards for an opponent this season and the largest advantage (+20) of the year. The 48 rebounds was also the Badgers' second-highest single-game total this season.
- The Badgers had 23 turnovers in the game, marking the eighth time this season with 20-or-more giveaways. The Wildcats scored 25 points off UW turnovers.
Individual Notes - Junior Nicole Bauman scored a game-high 22 points, her sixth game this season with 20-plus points. The 5-10 guard was 9-of-19 (47.4 percent) from the field, including 4-of-10 (40 percent) from 3-point range. She also added seven rebounds, four assists and one steal.
- Bauman's nine made field goals was the second-highest make this season behind her own 11 field goals made against Ohio State on Jan. 29. Bauman played a team career-high 45 minutes against Northwestern.
- Fifth-year senior Cassie Rochel notched her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Ten of her 13 boards came in the first half.
- Senior Jacki Gulczynski ended with 19 points, marking the 10th game this season she has scored in double figures. She still remains the only Badgers to have started and played in all 26 games.
- Gulczynski, who leads the team in free-throw percentage (.862), went a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line against the Wildcats.
- Junior Tessa Cichy ended a five-game streak of scoring 10-or-more points with only nine points scored in today's game. Cichy had a team-high five assists in the game, just three shy of her career high of eight assists.
