Team Notes

The Badgers trailed 53-31 (-22) at the half, their largest halftime deficit of the season.

Wisconsin falls to 0-6 against teams ranked or receiving votes in the national polls this season.

The Badgers improved after only shooting 39.4 percent (13-of-33) in the first half to shooting 47.2 percent (17-of-36) in the second half. Wisconsin ended shooting 43.5 percent while the Huskers shot 50 percent (33-of-66) in the game.

Nebraska's shooting ended a streak of four-straight games in which UW held its opponents under 38 percent from the field.

Nebraska now leads the all-time series against Wisconsin 6-5, including a 6-0 advantage in Big Ten play.

Individual Notes

Junior Tessa Cichy tied her career high with 14 points, tying her career best with six made field goals.

Cassie Rochel finished with 12 rebounds, marking her seventh game this season with double-figure rebounds. Rochel logged her third double-double of the season and eighth of her career by adding 10 points.

Sophomore Malayna Johnson tied her career high with six rebounds and tied her career best with four free throw attempts.

Junior Dakota Whyte, who has now scored in double figures in the last five games, was tied for the Badgers' leading scorer with 15 points. Whyte had a team season high 18 field goal attempts. The 5-8 guard also tied her career best with a game-high seven assists.

Junior Nicole Bauman shared the team lead with 15 points, marking the 12th game she has scored in double digits this season. Bauman tied her career high with eight 3-point attempts.
