        TEAM NOTES
        •    Today’s game captains were senior LBs Ethan        Armstrong and Chris        Borland and senior OLs Chris Gill        and Zac        Matthias.
        •    Wisconsin improves to 21-5 in games played in        November since the start of the 2006 season, including 11-1 at home. The Badgers are also        now 4-0 against non-conference teams over that span.
        •    Wisconsin improved to 60-6 (90.9 percent) at home        since the start of the 2004 season, the third-best record in the nation over that span,        trailing Boise State and Oklahoma.
        •    UW has now won 29 consecutive home games against        non-conference opponents, dating back to Sept. 13, 2003. That is the second-longest active        streak in the FBS, trailing only LSU (40).
        •    The Badgers improved to 5-0 at home this season        and have outscored their five opponents by a combined score of 196-33.
        •    Wisconsin has surrendered just three touchdowns at        home this season, and is allowing 6.6 points per game.
        •    BYU scored one touchdown on two red zone        possessions today. UW has allowed just nine touchdowns on its opponents 23 red zone        attempts (39.1 percent).
        •    The Badgers allowed the Cougars to convert just 7        of 19 third downs (36.8 percent). On the season, UW opponents have converted just 30.2        percent of third down opportunities.  
        •    BYU entered the game averaging 258.8 yards rushing        per game. Wisconsin limited the Cougars to 163 yards on the ground, their second-lowest        total of the season (low was 159 vs. Utah State on Oct. 4).
        •    The Cougars entered the game averaging 511.1 yards        of offense per game. Wisconsin held BYU to 370 yards, the Cougars second-lowest output of        the year, trailing only 362 yards at Virginia on Aug. 31.
        
        INDIVIDUAL NOTES
        •    Senior RB James        White scored three touchdowns today, his fifth career game with at least three        TDs. He now has 46 career touchdowns, which ties him with Billy Marek behind only Montee Ball        (83) and Ron Dayne        (71) on Wisconsin’s all-time list.
        •    White is also fourth in career rushing touchdowns,        with 43, trailing Ball (77), Dayne (71) and Billy Marek (44).
        •    White recorded the 15th 100-yard rushing game of        his career and sixth this season. UW is 15-0 when he runs for at least 100 yards.
        •    White accounted for 194 yards of total offense,        147 rushing and 47 receiving on a career-high six receptions.
        •    With his second-quarter touchdown pass, sophomore        QB Joel        Stave now has 16 TD passes on the season and 22 for his career. That ties him        for ninth on both UW’s single-season and career lists.
        •    With eight catches today, senior WR Jared        Abbrederis moved into second place on Wisconsin’s career receptions        list. He now has 178 career catches, trailing only Lee Evans (202).
        •    Senior TE Jacob Pederson hauled        in a season-high six catches for 49 yards. His six catches also equals his career high,        marking the third time Pederson has caught six passes in a game.
        •    After missing last week’s game at Iowa,        senior LB Chris        Borland returned and led the Badgers with 13 tackles, including 2.5 TFLS. It        is his 16th career double-digit tackle game and fourth this season. Borland also had two        sacks, which tied a career-high for the senior, and brought his season total to four sacks.         
        •    Sophomore S Tanner        McEvoy recorded his first career interception, picking off BYU quarterback        Taysom Hill in the first quarter. McEvoy also added five tackles, a career high.
        •    Sophomore K Jack        Russell made the first two field goals of his career, a 38-yarder in the        second quarter and a 26-yarder in the third quarter. He had been 0-4 prior to that kick.        They were Wisconsin’s first made field goals since Kyle        French made a 42-yarder at Ohio State on Sept. 28.
        •    Sophomore S Michael        Caputo recorded a career-high 12 tackles. His previous career-best mark was 10        at Arizona State on Sept. 14, 2013.
