MADISON, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin softball team will host its fall camps on Aug. 28 and Sept. 11. Individuals in grades 7-12 and junior college looking to improve their game can sign up for camp on either date. Instruction starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs until 11:00 a.m. All sessions of fall camp will take place at Goodman Diamond, located on the UW campus. Head coach Yvette Healy, along with assistant coaches Randy Schneider and Tracie Adix, will serve as camp directors.
Each camper needs to have their own glove, batting helmet and bat, while pitchers will need to supply their own catchers. Campers should wear comfortable clothing for being outside.
