MADISON, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin softball coaching staff is inviting high school and junior college players to attend its 2011 Summer Softball Camp.
Head coach Yvette Healy and assistant coaches Randy Schneider and Tracie Adix are hosting six camps in which players can take part in two-hour sessions that include position-specific skill instruction, advanced offensive breakdown and instructional competition. The University of Wisconsin's new softball coaching staff will provide hands-on skill instruction, allowing for maximum skill enhancement and personalized interaction and feedback.
All camp activities will take place at the University of Wisconsin's home field, Goodman Diamond, with state-of-the-art amenities including four batting cages, four bullpen mounds, a full stadium, an additional practice field, locker rooms and team meeting/media room.
