  • Wisconsin finishes the regular season 20-9 and tied for third in the Big Ten at 10-8. The Badgers finish the regular season with the most Big Ten and overall wins under Coach Lisa Stone and also the best conference place under Stone.
  • The Badgers rank as one of the most improved teams in the Big Ten after tying for seventh last season. UW was picked to finish 10th in the preseason coaches’ poll and seventh in the preseason media poll.
  • UW earns the fourth seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will play Purdue in Game No. 7 on Friday at approximately 7:30 p.m. CT. All games are played at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and all games, except the championship, will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network. Sunday’s championship game airs live on ESPN2.
  • The Badgers drew a season-high crowd of 11,369, the 15th-largest women’s basketball crowd at Wisconsin.
  • Iowa won the game from 3-point range, hitting 11 treys, a season-high for UW opponents. The Hawkeyes made 47.8 percent (11-of-23) from behind the arc.
  • Wisconsin and the American Transmission Company raised $2,842.25 for Madison’s Ronald McDonald House today. ATC donated 25 cents for each fan in attendance.
  • Senior Rae Lin D’Alie tied her career high with three 3-pointers made. The 5-3 guard was 3-of-7 from long range.
  • Sophomore Anya Covington recorded the second double-double of her career with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The 6-2 forward was 3-of-6 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line, including two free throws with 19 seconds left in regulation that sent the game into overtime. Covington also tied her career high with three assists.
  • Junior Alyssa Karel had her streak of double-digit scoring games stopped at nine games. The 5-7 guard had only four points on 2-of-15 shooting vs. the Hawkeyes.
  • Wisconsin drops to 1-1 in overtime games this season. The Badgers won at Minnesota 76-74 in double overtime on Feb. 4.
  • Seniors Rae Lin D’Alie and Teah Gant were honored in pre-game and post-game ceremonies today.
