Happy Holidays from the Badgers

MADISON, Wis. – Finals are almost over and the Wisconsin women’s basketball team is ready to take a few days off for the holiday season. The Badgers practiced this morning for the last time before Christmas and return to the court on Sunday.
In this first of a three-part series about the holiday season, read about where the Badgers are spending the holidays and their favorite thing about the season.
Where will you be spending the holidays and with whom?
I’ll be at home in Edwardsville, Ill., with my immediate family - dad, mom, two brothers and my sister! – Anya Covington
I will be returning to my hometown of Lakeville, Minn., to spend Christmas with all of my family. – Cassie Rochel

At home with my family (mom and dad, sisters Courtney and Brooke, and brother Joshua) in Glenview, Ill. My boyfriend Aaron (Henry, from the UW football team) will be with us for a couple days before he leaves for the Rose Bowl game. – Ashley Thomas
