• Wisconsin opens the season 2-0 for the second straight year and for the 15th time in 37th year of the program.
  
• The Badgers held William & Mary to 26.9 percent (21-of-48) from the field, their second straight game in holding their opponents under 30 percent. Opponents are shooting just 23.8 percent from field goal range against Wisconsin this season.
  
• UW outrebounded WMU 42-31 and the Badgers are averaging 43.0 rebounds per game this season.
  
• Wisconsin went to the free throw line 26 times, making 19 (73.1 percent). Taylor Wurtz and Morgan Paige were a perfect 4-for-4 from the line.
  
• Senior Tara Steinbauer recorded her ninth career double-double with a game-high 22 points and 12 rebounds. The 6-1 forward went 8-of-12 from the field, including 2-of-3 from 3-point range. Her eight field goals made as a career best. The is Steinbauer’s second-straight double-double after scoring 12 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
  
• Junior Jade Davis tallied a career-high four assists and three steals and tied her career best with four rebounds.
  
• Sophomore Taylor Wurtz went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free line for a career high free throws made and percentage.
  
• Freshman Morgan Paige is a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line this season after going 4-for-4 today.
• Junior Ashley Thomas scored a career-high seven points, tying her career best by going 3-of-4 from the field.
• Senior Lin Zastrow dished out five assists, tying her career best.
