
Happy Holidays from the Badgers! - Part IV

MADISON, Wis. - As the holiday season approaches, members of the Wisconsin women's basketball team were asked about their holiday plans. The Badgers hold their last practice before the break today and will return to Madison for practice late on Saturday.
Wisconsin returns to action on Dec. 28 when it hosts Michigan State at 7 p.m. in the Kohl Center.
Today is the fourth of a six-part series on the Badgers and the holiday excitement. What is your favorite family meal?
I love food, so anything family cooks around the holidays is great! However, I love going to my grandma's on Christmas morning for brunch.- Ashley Thomas

On Christmas Eve, we go to my Grandma's house for dinner and have meatloaf, potatoes and an assortment of Scandinavian foods since my Grandma and mom's side of the family is a mix of Norwegian and Swedish. To top it all off, we have Christmas cookies, key lime pie, cake, rice pudding, and a couple Scandinavian desserts such as Krumkake and Julekake. - Emily Neal

Anything cooked by my mom. She is an incredible cook. My dad is also a great cook and he makes a dessert called "The Dream Supreme"; it is a dream come true!
