Game Notes
• Junior Alyssa Karel led all scorers with 21 points, the second 20-plus game of her career. The 5-7 guard shot 10-of-16 from the field. She also added four rebounds, one assist and three steals.
• Senior Teah Gant turned in her first double-digit scoring game. The 5-10 guard finished second on the team with 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the field. She was also 7-of-9 from the line. Both shooting performances were season highs. Gant added season highs of five rebounds and two steals.
• The Badgers scored a season-low 58 points.
• Wisconsin finished with a season low 20 field goals made, hitting only 1-of-9 from 3-point range for 11.1 percent.
• The Badgers made a season-high 17-of-22 from the free throw line, making a season’s best 77.3 percent. Zastrow led the UW at 83.3 percent (5-of-6).
• UW had season highs of 23 fouls and 20 turnovers. The Badgers also had season lows of 26 rebounds, six assists and 10 steals.
• Wisconsin lost to Green Bay for the first time since 2006. The Badgers will fail to defend our title as the “unofficial” best team in the state with the loss. UW defeated all three state Division I teams during the 2008-09 season.
• Green Bay was the Badgers' third straight Horizon League opponent. The Phoenix were picked to win the Horizon League this season while Cleveland State was picked to finish second.
