Blog: Our time in Florida
November 23, 2008 | Women's Hockey
The Wisconsin women's hockey team spent four days in Fort Myers, Fla. to play in a two-game series against New Hampshire. Although the Badgers were there to play hockey, they also took advantage of the warm weather and the great travel experience. Sophomore Olivia Jakiel chronicled the first three days of the trip in her postid=1653"> --> blog about her time in Florida.
The Badgers last day in Florida was spent conducting a hockey clinic back at the Fort Myers Skatium for approximately 30 girls around the Fort Myers area. The Badgers then went to the Boston Red Sox training facility before heading back to Madison Sunday night.
The Badgers will return home when they host Minnesota State Nov. 28-30 at the Kohl Center. A complete photo gallery is attached.
