Led by Jason Bohannon's 14 points on 3-for-3 shooting, Wisconsin rebounded after suffering their first loss of the season last week. Joe Krabbenhoft pitched in 12 points and six rebounds, while Marcus Landry tallied 11 points and nine boards.
Even after not scoring their first bucket until the 15:54 mark of the opening half, the Badgers entered the break with a 38-20 lead. Bohannon notched 10 first half points, while the Badgers out-scored the Terriers 18-8 in the paint.
Wisconsin used the momentum from the first half to extend their lead to game-high 31 late in the game. UW ended the night shooting 47 percent from the field (25-of-53), even though it was only 3-of-13 from behind the arc.
Wisconsin's bench out-scored Wofford's 28-4 with Bohannon and Michael Flowers totaling 24 points. The Badgers continually got the ball in the post against an undersized Wofford team, out-scoring them 40-16 in the paint.
Krabbenhoft recorded his third double-digit scoring game of the season while improving his team-best assist-to-turnover ratio to 21-4. Landry ended the night one rebound short from a double-double (11-9), while Flowers was 3-for-6 from the field and dished out four assists.
Wofford, led by Dave Gibson's game-high 16 points, fell to 3-2 on the season and return home Dec. 8 to host UNC-Greensboro.
Next up for Wisconsin is in-state rival Marquette on Saturday Dec. 8 at the Kohl Center. Tip is set for 5 p.m. CT with the game being shown live on ESPN2 and broadcast on the Badger Radio Network.

Post-Game Quotes
On the offense in the first half: 'We were 0-for-5 on our first five. We had some pretty good practices coming in, just doing some things, trying to correct and get better at what we try to do and I just went small early. I just figured, OK let's go small early and then we'll sub and do some things with the bigs and I think that helped. It's not like it was the big 's fault at all, it was just let's just do some things here. I didn 't like the way some of the screens were being set and I wanted certain things done defensively. So that's how we went and then the other guys subbed in and out and it worked out OK.'
On the play of Jason Bohannon and his ability to get to the free throw line: 'Both he and Joe (Krabbenhoft) are two guys and Michael Flowers that have really, over the years, because they've been around, they understand that. We still have some other guys that are working on it, but that 's how you'll get to the line. And I think because he's not going to beat a lot of people off the dribble, he's going to have to get to the free throw line by doing the little things, a guy reaching in on him, a guy over his back, whatever, so however he gets there, we don't care. We just like him to make them when he does.'
On Wisconsin's shooting percentage: 'We got some looks inside, we got a lot of touches in the paint ' the closer to the basket the higher the percentage and you try to get it there but the defense is trying to keep it from getting there. So that's always a constant battle. Us and everybody else in the country is trying to get it to the post in time. Some teams will look to shoot more threes, because that's their offense but when they aren 't there, you better have something else.'

Post-Game Quotes
Opening Statements: 'We wanted to roll into Madison under the cover of darkness and play the Badgers and get with it. Unfortunately they made a trip down our way last week and I think they had their eyes opened a bit in the practices preceding our game. They made it tough on us. They 've got a very good team. They've got one of the best coaches there is and they defended us very well. They obviously made a very conscious effort to stick the ball in the post to [Brian] Butch and [Marcus] Landry and those other guys and they whipped us.
On Wofford's Injuries: 'You could 've taken a Wofford all-star team from the last 20 years and had a tough time in here tonight; (the Badgers) were ready to go. But playing without [Shane] Nichols makes it tough for us; he's a very good player. You have to make shots against whomever you play, especially in a game like this. [Wisconsin's] big and we felt we could screen them, but we just don't have the kids right now that will make shots that we'll have in a week. We are short and we suffer a great deal in a game like this because of that.
