Alumni Outing Scheduled for Sept. 23-24

Second-year head coach Chandelle Schulte and the Wisconsin softball program are inviting all UW softball alumni to attend the first ever Alumni Weekend Sept. 23-24.
The event hopes to recognize all former players who have contributed to the success attained by the program over its first 11 years. It will provide a wonderful time to reconnect with former teammates and meet the new coaching staff and current team members.
The event kicks off Saturday with the Wisconsin Round Robin Tournament at Goodman Diamond. The Badgers face UW-Green Bay at 1 p.m. and 2006 NCAA runner-up Northwestern at 3 p.m. A reception for alums and their families hosted by the National W Club will take place following the final game.
Former and current Badger players will square off in an alumni game Sunday at Goodman Diamond at 11 a.m.
