Ikegwuonu Reinstated To Football Team

Jack Ikegwuonu, a sophomore defensive back with the Wisconsin football team, has been reinstated to his team pending the results of further inquiry into his case, Director of Athletics Barry Alvarez announced Friday.

Ikegwuonu had been suspended from competition and practice after violating the UW Department of Athletics' Student-Athlete Discipline Policy.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects any additional information regarding disciplinary actions toward a student.
