Martha McCall Named Assistant Softball Coach

University of Wisconsin head softball coach Chandelle Schulte today announced the addition of assistant coach Martha McCall, formerly of the College of Charleston, to her staff. McCall begins her duties today.
'I'm excited to have Martha on my staff again, ' Schulte said. 'She is a great coach, and her familiarity with my system is a huge asset.'
McCall worked with Schulte for the past two seasons, serving as camp director, field supervisor and assistant coach. She was in charge of outfielders, catchers and also served as hitting instructor, among many other responsibilities.
Prior to coaching, McCall played catcher and first base for the Cougars for four years, with the last two (2002 and 2003) under Schulte.
A native of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., McCall is a 2003 graduate of the College of Charleston, earning her degree in communication.
