May 13, 2005 | Softball
Inclement weather in and around the Ann Arbor area has forced the postponement of the remainder of play Friday at the 2005 Big Ten Softball Tournament.
Fifth-seeded Wisconsin is now slated to take on top-seeded and No. 1 ranked Michigan at 10 a.m. Central time Saturday. The teams will meet following the completion of the first semifinal contest between Northwestern and Iowa, a game that is set to start at 8 a.m. Central.
The winners of the two semifinal contests will meet in the championship game at approximately 12:30 p.m.
The Badgers won one of the two remaining quarterfinal games played Friday, defeating Ohio State 6-1. Iowa knocked off Penn State 1-0 in the day's other quarterfinal contest.
