Field Conditions Cancel Softball Game

Today's softball game featuring the Wisconsin Badgers and the UW-Green Bay Phoenix has been cancelled due to poor field conditions at Phoenix Field. UWGB was rained out of two home games last weekend.

Wisconsin kicks off a seven-game home stand this weekend. UW opens with Penn State at the Goodman Diamond, Saturday at 6 p.m. and April 26 at noon. Wisconsin faces Ohio State in doubleheader action Sunday starting at noon.

The Badgers close out their home schedule with an April 30 match-up versus Illinois-Chicago and a doubleheader against UWGB on May 1.

Live stats for all home games are available on UWBADGERS.COM. Justin Furr and Mike Johnson of WSUM will make the call for UWBADGERS.COM on April 25, 27, 30 and May 1, while Jason Dickson and former Badger Amanda Berg call the action for WIBA on April 26.
