Badgers Win Exhibition Opener

The Wisconsin men's basketball team won its exhibition opener 103-81 over the EA Sports All-Stars at the Kohl Center Saturday night. This win marks the Badgers' 22nd consecutive exhibition game win.
Junior forward Mike Wilkinson led all scorers with 24 points and eight rebounds. Wilkinson made seven of ten field goals and was perfect from the free-throw line, hitting eight-of-eight. Junior guard Devin Harris also contributed 21 points, going 7-14 from the floor, sinking four-of-seven three-pointers. Harris also had 10 assists.
Freshman guard Kammron Taylor shined in his Badger debut, scoring 16 points with three steals. Taylor was five-for-seven from the filed, nailing four-of-six three-point attempts.
The EA All-Stars were lead by guard Mike Brownlee who tallied 23 of their 81 points.
The Badgers took the lead with 15:12 remaining in the first half and maintained the lead for the rest of the game.
Wisconsin dominated the boards, outrebounding the All-Stars 44-23.
The Badgers wrap up their exhibition season against the North Charleston Lowgators on Monday, Nov. 17. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
