Weather Delays Start of NCAA Softball Regional

The start of the 2002 NCAA Softball Regional at Iowa City, Iowa, has been delayed two hours due to rain. Game one, featuring No. 1 seed Nebraska versus No. 6 seed Illinois-Chicago, has been moved from an 11:30 a.m. start to a scheduled 1:30 p.m. first pitch. Wisconsin, the No. 5 seed in the regional, is now scheduled to begin its game against No. 2 seed Oregon State at 4:00 p.m. barring any further delays.
