Bob Konovsky

Induction:

University of Wisconsin, 1954-1956

Earned the Big Ten Medal of Honor in 1956.
Three-time All-American (1954-1956).
Three-time Big Ten Heavyweight wrestling champion.
Two-time national runner-up.
National Wrestling Hall of Famer.
Played offensive line for the Badger football program and earned letters in 1954 and 1955.
Drafted in the seventh round of the 1956 NFL Draft and played three seasons with the Chicago Cardinals.
Played one season in 1960 for the Chicago Bears under coach and founder George Halas.
Joined the Denver Broncos during the 1961 American Football League season.
After retiring from pro football, became a professional wrestler under the name ‘Killer Konovsky’.
