Over the past 5 seasons, she has helped create and provided exposure to student-athletes, staff and fans for under-served and underrepresented demographics to ignite a passion for service through community engagement programming and campaigns. Major initiatives have included Wish Upon A Badger, Badger Brain Breaks, The Wisconsin Shoe Project, Badger pen pals, pediatric cancer awareness, community donation drives, teddy toss, weekly room-to-room hospital visits, and inclusive environments and events where individuals and families living with down syndrome are celebrated members of society.
Davenport helped formulate Wisconsin Athletics strategic community partnerships, founded in 2017, with a targeted effort to build long lasting mutually beneficial relationships throughout the community. She also manages the Badgers Give Back brand through digital media, including website, press releases, video content, graphics and social media platforms to enhance storytelling and outreach beyond sport.
Davenport previously served as an administrative program specialist for UW Athletics and played a primary role in planning and operationalizing Wisconsin's bowl game trips as well as men's basketball NCAA Tournament travel (including the 2014 and 2015 Final Fours).
Davenport graduated from UW-Madison in 2009 with a degree in nutritional science and dietetics and received her master certificate in sports philanthropy from George Washington University in 2019.
