AreaRED Card Sports Pass
A great way for UW students to attend Wisconsin Athletic Varsity Sports events is with the AreaRED Card Sports Pass which provides access to students to secure a student ticket, based on availability, to home regular season women's basketball, volleyball, wrestling, softball and women's hockey events, all for just $55. Ticket price is inclusive of per ticket fees. This is nearly 70 home dates, giving you a terrific savings over individual game prices. Please note the AreaRED Card Sports Pass is not valid for the Opening Spike Classic volleyball matches at the Kohl Center on August 29 and 31, but is valid for the Kohl Center Classic volleyball match on September 21.
AreaRED Card Sports Passes went on-sale on Monday, August 4 and are no longer available for sale for the 2025-26 athletic seasons.
Tickets will remain available until the AreaRED Card Sports Pass allotment is exhausted for each event. Therefore, there is no guarantee of ticket availability to every AreaRED Card Sports Pass holder.

Student Single Match Tickets
UW-Madison students may purchase student single match tickets, based on availability, by logging into their online student account beginning on Monday, August 4 at 9 a.m. Cost is $6 per student ticket. Ticket price is inclusive of per ticket fees. There is a limit of two (2) tickets per student at the student ticket price. Additional tickets beyond the two (2) ticket limit are full price.
Students are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance of match day, as availability is limited and traditionally sell out in advance of the match. If available, day of match student ticket sales begin 90 minutes prior to the start of the match. For matches at the UW Field House, if available, student tickets are available for purchase at Gates B and C. For matches at the Kohl Center, if available, student tickets are available for purchase at Gate B.
Opening Spike Classic Student Tickets
UW-Madison students may purchase student vouchers for the Opening Spike Classic at the Kohl Center on Friday, August 29 (Wisconsin vs. Kansas) and Sunday, August 31 (Wisconsin vs. Texas) by logging into their online student account beginning on Monday, August 4 at 9 a.m. There is a limit of two (2) tickets per student at the student ticket price. Student vouchers should be redeemed at the student gate beginning 90 minutes prior for reserved seats in the student section. Students should enter with their friends through the same chute at the same time.
Kohl Center Classic Student Tickets
UW-Madison students may purchase student vouchers for the Kohl Center Classic at the Kohl Center on Sunday, September 21 by logging into their online student account, or by clicking here. There is a limit of two (2) tickets per student at the student ticket price. Student vouchers should be redeemed at the student gate beginning 90 minutes prior for reserved seats in the student section. Students should enter with their friends through the same chute at the same time.
ADA Student Ticket Information
Seating for students with accessible needs is available in the UW Field House and at the Kohl Center.
For volleyball matches at the UW Field House, students with accessible needs should visit the Guest Services kiosk, located on the Northwest concourse under section U, to be directed to an available accessible seating area.
For volleyball matches at the Kohl Center, students with accessible needs request accessible seating when entering the Student Gate to claim their reserved seat in the student section after scanning their student voucher for entry. Up to three (3) contiguous student accessible companion seats may be provided to accompany the student with accessible needs.
