Sure their were press conferences and interviews with "legitimate" media outlets for the Badgers on Thursday at the Sprint Center, but to get the real pulse of the team a day before its matchup with Ole Miss, UWBadgers.com once again turned to senior guard-turned-reporter Dan Fahey.

The Badgers got their first look at the Sprint Center Thursday afternoon, taking the court for a 40-minute open practice in front of a few hundred fans. True to form, Wisconsin worked on a everything from ball handling to shooting. In customary fashion, UW closed their workout with a half-courting shooting contest as sophomore Jordan Smith drained the winning heave.

The Badgers arrived in Kansas City Wednesday afternoon and made themselves right at home just three blocks from Sprint Center at one of the cities most historic hotels. Then it was off to Rockhurst University for practice at Mason-Halpin Field House, home of the NCAA Division II Rockhurst Hawks.
