Badgers open Conference play on Oct. 30 at the Kohl Center against Notre Dame

MADISON, Wis. – Circle Friday, Oct. 30, on your calendars. That's the date Wisconsin men's hockey welcomes Notre Dame to the Kohl Center to open Big Ten Conference play for the 2026-27 season.
The Conference announced the full Big Ten schedule on Friday with dates across the league. Game times and TV designations are still to be announced.
After the Badgers open their season at home on Oct. 2-3 against Robert Morris at the Kohl Center, they don't return home until the Notre Dame Big Ten opening weekend on Oct. 30-31.
A trip to Minnesota for games on Nov. 5 and 7 lead the Badgers into three consecutive home weekends, including Big Ten foes Ohio State (Nov. 13-14) and Penn State (Nov. 20-21).
UW visits Michigan on Dec. 4 and 5 to close out the 2026 portion of this year's league schedule.
The Badgers jump back into league play for a Jan. 8-9 series at the Kohl Center against Michigan State, before a bye week leads into road trips to Penn State (Jan. 21-22) and Ohio State (Jan. 29-30).
The Border Battle comes to the Kohl Center for Feb. 5 and 7, while the Badgers wrap up the Kohl Center Big Ten regular season on Feb. 18 against Michigan. The Badgers also take on the Wolverines on Feb. 20 in the Travel Wisconsin Frozen Tundra Faceoff at Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Feb. 20.
UW's regular season finishes like it begins, with a series against Notre Dame. The road regular-season finale takes place on March 4 and 5.
Non-conference single-game tickets are on sale now. Big Ten single-game ticket sales will open in the coming weeks.
