
Four Wisconsin men’s swimmers named to CSC All-District Team

MADISON, Wis. — Four Wisconsin men's swim and dive student-athletes have earned a spot on the CSC Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.
Junior Luukas Vainio and sophomores Andrew Hanson, Nate Harris and Jack Skarda are representing the Badgers on the team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Harris and Vainio are selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists, and are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on Wednesday, April 29.
**Nate Harris - Sophomore, Computer Science
- Big Tens: 18th in 100 breaststroke - 52.67, 18th in 200 breaststroke - 1:54.45, 19th in 200 IM - 1:45.70

Andrew Hanson - Sophomore, Business: Risk Management & Insurance
- Big Tens: Competed in three events - 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle

Jack Skarda - Sophomore, Economics
- Big Tens: Competed in three events - 50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke
- Competed in nine meets
