
66 Badgers named to winter Academic All-Big Ten Team

Wisconsin student-athletes honored for academic excellence
MADISON, Wis. — A total of 66 student-athletes from the University of Wisconsin's winter sports teams have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-Big Ten team, recognizing their achievements in both academics and athletics, as announced by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday.
Women's swimming and diving, men's hockey and wrestling all had 15 athletes recognized. Men's swimming and diving totaled 10 honorees while women's basketball posted seven and men's basketball had four student-athletes recognized.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of March 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.Â
